Dr. Tae Lee is a board-certified psychiatrist with a subspecialty in child and adolescent psychiatry, currently serving as the Medical Director of The Maples of Texas. With more than a decade of clinical and administrative experience, Dr. Lee has developed a strong reputation for his expertise in treating complex psychiatric conditions, with a particular focus on eating disorders in children and adolescents. Dr. Lee is a graduate of U.T. Southwestern and he received his intern training at John Peter Smith Hospital, followed by residency training at U.T. Southwestern and a child and adolescent fellowship at U.T. Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center. During his time as fellow he served as chief resident where he had the opportunity to work with Dr. Graham Emslie and Dr. Paul Croarkin. It was during his time at Children’s that Dr. Lee first worked with eating disorders. Dr. Lee began his leadership journey as the Medical Director of the Renfrew Center of Dallas from 2011 to 2015, where he was instrumental in developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans for patients struggling with eating disorders. He then served as Medical Director at Innovations in Fort Worth from 2015 to 2021, where he expanded his work in child and adolescent psychiatry with integrated multidisciplinary approaches to care.
