Meet Dakota – Our Facility Pup!

Dakota is our 6-month-old ball of energy and love! He has quickly become a favorite among the girls and staff. Playful and a little clumsy (okay… sometimes a lot clumsy), Dakota has a way of bringing laughter into even the toughest days. He’s currently a therapeutic pup in training, learning how to offer comfort and connection.

Dakota has a gentle heart and seems to know just when someone needs a nuzzle, a paw on their lap, or a goofy puppy grin to brighten their mood. For our residents, he’s more than just a dog—he’s a friend who listens without judgment and reminds them it’s okay to just be. For our staff, he’s a constant source of joy and a daily lesson in unconditional love.

Whether he’s chasing toys, offering snuggles, or lying quietly by someone’s side, Dakota embodies what we strive for every day: creating a safe, warm, and healing environment.
