Meet Dakota – Our Facility Pup!

Dakota has been part of The Maples North Texas family from the very beginning and has quickly become a favorite among our residents and staff. Playful, a little clumsy, and full of love, he has a special way of bringing laughter into even the toughest days. With his gentle heart and goofy personality, Dakota seems to know just when someone needs a nuzzle, a quiet companion, or a reason to smile. While he’s still learning his role, he already plays an important part in creating the warm, welcoming, and healing environment that makes The Maples feel like home. Whether he’s chasing toys, offering snuggles, or simply lying by someone’s side, Dakota reminds us all of the power of comfort, connection, and unconditional love.
