Who Do We Serve at Our Treatment Center?
Our 24-bed treatment facility in Fort Worth offers a comfortable and home-like environment for teen girls ages 13–18. We help patients who are dealing with eating disorders, mild to moderate substance abuse, and mental health concerns.
Eating Disorders
Eating disorders can affect your teen’s physical and mental health. These disorders cause patients to become overly focused on weight, food, and body shape, affecting their relationship with food and eating. Eating disorders can affect a variety of aspects of your teen’s life, making it important to seek help.
Substance Abuse
Substance abuse refers to using illegal drugs, prescription or over-the-counter medications, or alcohol for purposes other than their intended use. Substances that overload reward circuits can rewire teenagers’ brains.
Our residential treatment center focuses on helping teens who are dealing with substance abuse related to vaping or mild alcohol or marijuana use. We offer both SMART Recovery and 12-Step options to help your teen reach sobriety.
Mental Health Concerns
Common mental health disorders in the teen years include depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Depression causes low mood, hopelessness, and a lack of interest in previous hobbies, while anxiety results in worry, fear, and nervousness. Bipolar disorder involves mood swings, often alternating between mania and depression. At our treatment center, we help teens struggling with a range of mental health issues, focusing on family involvement and mindfulness activities.
Services at Our Treatment Center
Our live-in recovery facility in Fort Worth offers twice-weekly therapy and dietician meetings, weekly psychiatry and family therapy, and a weekly substance abuse support group as needed.
Therapy
