Meet The Maples Support Staff

At The Maples, we have a team of licensed clinical social workers, professional counselors, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who will support teenage girls and their families during the healing process.

JT Odell, B.S. Psychology
Administrative Assistant

JT Odell graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2020 with a B.S. in Psychology. He has been working as an administrative assistant since 2020. JT likes to think of his role as alleviating whatever workload he can from our clinicians, so that they can focus on what’s most important – our clients. He is in charge of visitation scheduling, evaluation tracking, and helping out with discharge planning.

JT is passionate about youth mental health and feels lucky to be a part of The Maples

Jennifer Ramdass
Utilization Review

Jennifer Ramdass has been working in the substance abuse and mental health field for over 10 years. She works with many families across the state and country to ensure that the transition into treatment, financially, is as seamless for families as possible.
 
She specializes in Utilization Review and Benefit Coordination with insurance companies. Her goal at The Maples is to make the admission process, related to benefit coordination and finances, as smooth as possible for the families and adolescents that we treat. 

Melissa Landry, LDN, RDN
Consultant Registered Dietitian

Melissa Landry has been a Registered Dietitian for 19 years. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and completed her Dietetic Internship at Southern University. She is certified in ServSafe, Quorum Lean Healthcare Leadership and Adult Weight Management. Melissa has had experience working with nutritional needs of mental health and substance abuse for 11 years.

Maple Tanya Stuart
Chief Happiness Officer

Maple is the official house hound for The Maples Baton Rouge. She was adopted at a local shelter and was born with the natural ability to make people smile. Outside of protecting The Maples, she specializes in: 

  • Zoomies
  • Begging for Treats
  • Face Kisses
  • Receiving Belly Rubs
  • Jumping on Furniture

Grace Maple Stuart
Associate Officer of Amusement & Joy

Grace was specially chosen from a local shelter to join The Maples family when she was just 8 weeks old. Grace resides at The Maples Hammond providing comfort to the residents and staff. She has been nurtured and raised by our residents and has learned all she knows from her big sister, Maple. Grace helps us to remember to give grace to everyone around us. She specializes in:

  • Puppy naps
  • Snuggles
  • Snoring
  • Puppy Dog Eyes

Allowing individuals and families to address their needs in a safe, nurturing environment, providing an increased level of self-esteem, self-worth and emotional regulation.
