Meg Sherman
Meg Sherman, LCDC, LMFT Associate, serves as a primary therapist and supports adolescents as they process trauma, enhance their self-worth, strengthen their relationships, and recover from substance use or other addictive behaviors.
Meg has over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, first as a church youth group leader then as a high school theatre teacher. Following the joys and challenges of helping her own children through various diagnoses and substance use struggles, Meg entered the mental health field and pursued training in EMDR, EFIT, and Gottman techniques.
Meg incorporates straight-talk and humor into her approach with clients while maintaining a safe, nonjudgmental space that allows them room to grow – and even enjoy the process. She’s known to geek out over neuroscience, music, creative writing, crochet, and all things anime.
